To Each and Every Valued Customer,

During this time of uncertainty, please know that we are committed to serving you with all your live goods needs. We are open as local and state authorities have deemed our industry essential to be open for a reason; we have a moral and ethical responsibility to the communities we serve. We are proud to be a key component in the growing community to ensure that you, our customers, can maintain a sustainable food source for your families. We will continue to make sure that all customer’s needs are met in this category particularly. We have increased our vegetable, herb, and seed supply, taking added deliveries to maintain inventory. Bare roots have been planted up but we still have a wide selection of berries and fruit trees. Home gardens play a key role in ensuring a sustainable food source for months and years ahead. Additionally, we all know that gardens have become more important than ever in providing us with a safe place to retreat for peace and relief from these stressful times. The health and well-being of our customers and employees is our top priority. We are committed to giving you the best local selection of both edibles and flowers to bring home.

We are happy to report that our employees are healthy and happy to be working. Our sales team will continue to serve you with the service level you’ve come to expect but that service may look a little different as we focus on the health and safety of everyone here. We are taking phone, text and email orders to be delivered or picked up in the parking lot. We are pleased to be able to offer free local delivery to our vulnerable customers unable to make it to the nursery. You can expect personal engagement when needed, following social distancing recommendations. We can assure you that strict cleaning protocols are continuing to be reinforced as well as social distancing requirements.

As information continues to evolve, we will continue to keep you abreast of any changes being made to our operations. We stay informed so we can remain fluid in how we move forward.

If you are now homeschooling, consider planting a Victory Garden filled with vegetables, berries, fruits and herbs. In our history, communities banded together to create over 20 million private gardens that produced nearly half of the nation’s edible food supply during difficult times. You can incorporate the history or simply enjoy the time together with no pressure as we have found the lessons come quite naturally. We will be there every step of the way to help with your Victory Garden and support our communities.

We look forward to continuing to serve you in the safest way possible while making our communities more sustainable. You and your families are in our thoughts and prayers.

Sincerely,

Ken and Catherine Griggs
